Children nowadays are too demanding!

Are we so spoilt to our children nowadays or just them who are too pampering?

I admit that millenium parents are "always rewarding" their children when the children satisfied them with something i.e in academics/behave well. It's different from our time when we rarely asked to have something when we did good in something and we didn't care if our parents didn't give us anything. We just satisfied them and they just felt proud of us. That's more sincere I guess ;)

May be the factors of environment have influenced children to have what they want, be it or not. Just name all the types of games that is on popular now and we can see most the children have those. From handphone, gameboy, PSP, PlayStation 2 and to PlayStation 3 next..... just name it!

I'm not really like the idea of "rewarding" them with this way and I'm not really agree with it but how could I stop when Mr A is the one who's buying all those. Yes, the clear-cut reason is mommy doesn't have extra money to obtain all those. But, I know the reason behind that also, abah wanted to play too.. but oh well, while they are playing PS2, hannah and me could play other games. Mommy also likes gadget things what. Mommy didn't have all these during childhood time. Tee hee...

I told them many times, wan (their grandfather) didn't treat me like that but just proud of me and I was happy making them proud of me when I did terrific in the exams. Then, they (the kids) would say, that's my time, old era. We have to get updating mommy! *chuckle*

Of late, my second child always begging for a notebook if he gets good grads in exam. Oh my, children nowadays! I told him that, even I don't have one. He's complaining that PC at home is not mobile (of course!) and now the reason is more solid as the CPU is not working. He couldn't log in to internet. I told him just wait until it be fixed.

They are now just in primary stage. I wonder what children out here will ask on their secondary level! An apartment for them might be? So they can ask their buddies to loaf around at their apartment and play all the games that they have???.. haah, itu beli sendiri ok bila dah kerja, banyak cikadak!

>> agree with that statement...
>> if they want something, they really want it...
>> back in those days, we never demand for anything...
>> sometimes we were lucky to get things we wanted...
>> but most of the time we do not get those things...
>> so we made used of what we had...
