Got the news via sms and phone call this morning that our loveable Kak Yana, my neighbor at hometown, has passed away at about 7.30 this morning, leaving behind a husband and four wonderful kids. Died at the age of 43. Innalillah hiwainna ilaihi raji un. Semoga rohnya dicucuri Allah dan ditempatkan bersama-sama dengan orang-orang yang beriman, Amin. I felt bad as I didn't free my time to meet her during my visit to hometown last Idil Adha. Last time we met was during her visit to my parents house a month before Ramadhan 2007, to give a visit to my then, new baby. It's been more than a year!
I believe she has gone peacefully as she suffered from cervix cancer for such a long time. Not mistaken, 5 years already.
Still remember that we jokingly argued about the sex of the child that I was bringing in my womb. I was about 4-month-pregnant then when I visited her upon hearing her condition became weaker. She said that she prayed I would get a boy again as she had all her four children male. I said no way, it's gonna be a girl. *giggled & hugged*
On that night, I thinked of her so much before I performed my wudhu and did solat hajat for her. Prayed to Almighty to recover her soon, or at least to lessen her suffering. From that day on, she's always in my dua' and I will keep praying for you sis even though you are in another world now. Setiap yang hidup pasti akan pergi. May a death of another make us alert and remember of our time to see God also. Be prepare for that all the time. Ya Allah, hilangkanlah segala kelalaian diriku ini terhadapMu. Please make my heart rigid towards You.
To whom it may concern, who has dropped by my blog, let us together recite Al-Fatihah for her. May you have peace there sister.
