Girl is always girl s s s s s ......

See my anak dara. She's a typical little girl who likes to try what her mummy has. Oh no! I caught her last Friday night at my makeup bar and sneaked what she was doing. Oh no... I don't mind she's trying those, I was more worried if those would be 'faulty'.

She's 2 years and 4 months now. And still nenen. Very talkative among us (abah, mommy, brothers & bibik) but so shy with others. I like! That shows her feminity huh. She now knows how to demand and pick this and that. Like to pick her clothes herself. And would repeatedly wears the same clothes. Rugi la banyak2 baju lain mami beli. Haiya.

Ammar's 10th birthday

28/10/2009
Happy 10th birthday to Ammar.
Celebrated at The Bangkok House, but not at Bangkok. This is my hubby's friend restaurant.
The food here are all recommended. I like it's green curry. Commercial break sekejap.

Aqil's 9th birthday

20/10/2009
Happy 9th birthday to Aqil.
The first intention and plan was to be held at Pizza Hut but because of Abah's last minute program, he ordered the pizza and we celebrated at home that night.
Mommy had asked to do the next day ja, but the son insisted so much and said his birtday was 'today', so couldnt celebrate 'tomorrow'. Ok, whatever.

Another a year

Our little girl just turned 2 last Tuesday.

We haven't planned to throw the party as 'mom & dad' are so bz.

So, last Tuesday after coming from work, I just bought a cake and planned to celebrate among ourselves at home. We did. Then only abah came home when the cake was already finished. Didn't expexct him to come home so early. He asked to eat out cum celebrated Hannah's birthday. The boys voted out for Pizza Hut. Ergo, we went there. Bought another cake again to bring to PH. Special guests are, who else if not, Adib and Diba ;). Hehe.

Abah, mommy, abang-abang dan semua doakan semoga Hannah panjang umur, diberikan kesihatan & keselamatan terbaik, sentiasa dirahmati-Nya dan bahagia sokmo.

After some times ....

It's been a long time since the last time I posted the blog. Reasons: busy, busy & busy, even coudn't have time for blogging.
No update means the blog is dead, isn't it? People come and go just to see there were the same old stories. :B

So, here is the wrapped up for the whole unpublished stories (Warning: there might have the story that I forgot to tell. Hence, not all are in here. Anyway, there is some at least :B )

Housewife vs househusband
I would like to give a big clap to Mr Hubby and to grant him an award of THE BEST HOUSEHUSBAND for 2 weeks.

That's because the maid was on leave for a month. We hired mother-in-law for the first two weeks and the last two weeks was supposely the alternate days for me and husband to take turn look after the children. But, it turned out that Mr Hubby had to spend most of the time with them as I coudn't leave my works for so long as all the bosses at the office would miss me very much. Thanks for Mr Hubby who understood and supported me throughout the tough time. Phewitt!

But, it didn't mean I let all the housechores to him. Came week ends, despite the rest days, it was totally tired days. I preferred the week days instead then, so that I could go to office and you know why :B.

Thanks God, the maid managed to come on time and I hope I can manage my time back to normal.

CMMi

Being brief and studied repeatedly for SCAMPI B.

The result just "a litte OK" than SCAMPI C. Huhh! Have to make sure SCAMPI A is tip-top. Preparation? Just follow the flow larrr......

Shopping
So pity! I've not been extremely shopped eversince mom sick. Reason:
i) went back home every weekend (5 weeks in a row) starting 1/5.
ii) "nothing" to buy (ye ke?????)
iii) "short" of money (ni baru betul!)

I just had the chance to go to the nearest shopping mall yesterday and see many new fashions and trends. Oh how I was so left out. It just 2 months, yet there's so many I've been not catched up for shopping things. But the good side is, it taught me to save the money invisibly, but.... in reality the money still decreasing. I wonder how and I wonder why ... :P
I keep on praying for a blue sky, I keep on searching through the rain...

Day dream

3 days ago:
The boss came to my workstation with a smiling face. He asked me to come for a while to his place for a quick discussion. He smiled... I smiled back lorrr. Senyum itu sedekah anyway. Why he didn't bother just to call me from his room? Hummphh.. Hahh, while walking to his room, I whispered slowly to me, "he might tell me the goods news..probably! Salary raise?" *hahhah*

After comfortably sitting in front of his table, he said, "Roy, we just got a new project. We got Tabung Haji project wich cost to $$$$$ and bla bla bla. I need your help for the proposal of the system, the commercial price and the cost margin, bla bla bla". Patut pun senyum. Ada udang di sebalik batu. Okkkkkkkk... and I went back to my place start thinking how to make them raise my salary do the proposal. Roy always has a good dream lately but in fact, the reality is really bites. Yeah, in my dreammmmmmmmmzzzzzzzz

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my mak and all the moms all over the world.

Mom of all season

Tears running down the cheeks now… I can’t hide it. Remember mak all the times… who is now still in ICU.

Mak,
Ayah, your children, relatives, neighbours and all pray for you all the times. May mak will recover and awake from unconscious stage. And we hope mak won’t have any other complications when she’s awake. Kami sentiasa berdoa semoga dijauhkan akibat-akibat yang tidak diingini. Believe it, trust it, our prayers will always be with you. Mak, you must remember that Allah only tests the strong person. You are. You are the strong person, that’s why Allah has tested you and us as well. He knows that you can accept it and we also must accept it whatever that He will grant.

Mak,
We talked about you last two nights with ayah before going to bed. About all your kindness. All the neighbours said that you are a soft spoken person, never shouted to people, never raised voice to your own children. Oh, how I wish I’d be like you.
Often, we only think and talk about someone’s kindness when she/he is in critical condition or is no longer in this world. Ya Allah, berilah peluang kepada kami dan juga mak. Sihatkanlah mak kembali supaya kami masih dapat menghargai jasa dan pengorbanannya kepada kami selagi dia masih hidup.

Mak,
I miss your cucur udang. I never find a tasty cucur udang as yours. I can’t find it at KLCC food court, popular restaurant, pasar malam, pasar Ramadhan or even stall down the road. It’s been sold there but not like yours. My mom’s cucur udang is the best cucur udang in the world for me. It’s kuah kacang is yummilicious. I’ll also miss your laksa (the kuah is important) and gulai ikan. Mak, cepatlah sembuh ya, cook me all these before one of us will see Allah.

We hope that mak will conscious soon and will smile to us again. Amin.

Happy mother’s day mak.

Not only on mother’s day, we will celebrate you every day.

Sincerely yours,

(Your daughter who terribly miss you now)

Part IV

Fouth day (4/4/09)
We start our journey to JKT at 9:30 am and arrive there at about 12:00 pm. We have lunch at nasi padang restaurant there before checking in at Grand Tropic Suites Hotel. Here we rented Family Suite to accomodate the 'many us' (3 bedrooms, complete with kitchen, living area and dining area, etc) while Sue & family rented Business Suite.

After refreshing ourselves, we off to Ciputra Mall. Shopping sakan gak sini. Penat. No need to explain more.

Fifth day (5/4/09)
Last day to shop!
We spent money and time *ngee* at Cempaka Mas. Last year we did came here also. So, we shopping sakan jugak here. Penat. No need to explain more. I would recommend for visitors to come here rather than go to Mangga 2 (although I never go there). From husband’s experience also. He’s been to Tanah Abang, Mangga Dua and Cempaka Mas. They are about 6,000 shops at CM compared to 4,000 shops at M2. Tak terhabis pun satu hari nak masuk semua 6,000 shops tu. :B

That night, we packed all the stuff in preparation to go home the next day. We took off the earliest flight to KL for the day.
Bye-bye.

At Ciputra Mall

Part III

Third day (3/4/09)
We spent the whole day to factory outlets on our last day at BDO.
Diaz, Toko 3, Bale Anak, Grande, Jetset, Episode, Heritage and Cascade. By the way, Heritage and Cascade are connected to each other. Don’t miss to go to Heritage and Cascade ok if you at BDO. It’s happening here.

If you don’t mind about ori things, go to Diaz. Here, there’s a lot of leather handbags and shoes as well. A lot of branded imitation handbags and shoes here. They are mostly first class replica. Some people said that Diaz is the handbags heaven..pure nirvana. But by all mean, they are not cheap, but the bags look so real, it will pass as the real thing.
We cannot bargain here. In my opinion, if one wants to buy this kind of stuff, better go to PBTC as we can ask for lower prices but the choices there are not as many as here. There’s a good and contra anyway. I didn’t buy anything here (still looking for ori things *ngee*)

This year I could say that the children clothes at Bale Anak were not happening compared to last year. There were so many brands that were not evident. I was so disappointed coming here (but grabbed some for Hannah, Ammar & Aqil :D). I would say that Heritage & Cascade is better in term of children variety design and brand clothes.

Grande, Jetset & Episode are near to each other. So just make one stop i.e at Grande, then we just can cross the road to go to the other FO. BTW, House of Donatello (sell shoes) is just around the corner but we didn’t have a chance to go there as we just down to the wire short of time.
I aimed to come again to Grande as I wanted to grab the G2000 shirts and slacks for office work but couldn't find any this time. Last year there's a bundle of that type selling here. The stock must be different every year, so don't expect much. What you got last year, didn't mean you could get this year and vice versa.

Our supir told us that Toko Tiga is the best shop to buy jeans. Toko Tiga sells original jeans with the lowest price compared to other outlets as it acts as an agent/distributor. But not all brands of jeans are here. There’s a Levi’s, Lee Copper, Piere Cardin, Diesel and some other that I forgot already. I’m looking for LV or Guess jeans. Sorry, that type of brands haven’t had here.

We were so frustrated when we realized that there’s a lot of things that were happening at Heritage and Cascade when only we had only 30 minutes before the FO would be closed for the day. Sue & I would like to come back the next day if we could but we already scheduled to leave for Jakata at 9 am (on the next day). Huhuhu…huwaa….

All the pics still not uploaded yet.. later kay!

Part II

We checked in at Karang Setra Hotel and cottage (we choose cottage) at about 5pm. After refreshing ourselves, we headed to Sriwijaya Keramayang Restaurant for dinner. This restaurant provides Sunda food. The Sunda food is tasty. For me, it is better than nasi padang.
We asked our supir to go to Rumah Mode afterwards. I got LV jeans for me and Sonoma blouse for Hannah. The boys got their Guess Jeans, 2 pairs each. I could say that the jeans and children clothes are to my taste at Rumah Mode. Blouses were not to my desire here.

Second day (2/4/09)
While husband and Pok Ya entertained the kids at hotel, me, Umi, Sue, Hannah, maid & Azim (the emerging of him was so important! Tukang carry barang2) were brought to Pasar Baru Trade Center by our supir. We spent there from morning to evening. Bought a lot of things? Of course! MIL was so excited shopping here.

We just realized that we haven’t had our lunch yet when we were about to leave the PBTC at about 5 o’clock pm. Called them at hotel and heard the weak voice (sbb lapar menunggu the shoppers!) *ngee ngee*

As it approached the dinner time, we skipped the lunch and just waited for our supir to bring us for dinner. When hubby asked, nasi padang or sunda, everybody voted for sunda food. So, off we went to another sunda restaurant. This restaurant is so nice. This time we chose the hut style seat and we have to sit cross-legged (bersila). There’s imitation river running outside the hut. So cool. The sunda food here is better and tastier compared to a night before.

That night was also "The Night in History" to me. There's a tragedy that are so menyakitkan, terrified, fear, memalukan. I could see everybody was in panic term though they hide didn't show much. Thanks God, the holiday was not spoilt by me. :B

Outside the cottage. Waiting for supir.

Behind is our cottage

In the cottage

Rombongan Cik Kiah (5 days 5 nights)

My MIL name is Rokiah by coincidence, so the title is match enough to tell the whole story :).
This is my second trip to Bandung and Jakarta. I would conclude that shopping is heavenly at Bandung (and JKT as well) as our currency to Indonesia currency is very impressive now compare to last visit (last year).

Despite the heavy workloads, I’ve to update this soon as the demand is very high from my prens who asked me many times and who is waiting their turn to go there soon. I write this as it will be a guidance and tips to them. Aku tulis sikit2 ya Lin, Anis, etc…nanti aku charge ;)

First day (1/4/09)
We reached JKT at 8:05 am Indonesia time. Our loyal supir was already there waiting for us. We headed to Safari Park (again!) first. We stopped by at Restoran Sederhana for lunch. We had yummilicious nasi padang there.

We came to Safari park again just because to make the kids enjoy before they would start to make their long face as the mommies and daddies would start their true color activities at Bandung. *giggle*

I've also posted the pics on Safari Park visit last year at BDG-JKT (Taman Safari Indonesia).
Later, we headed to Bandung and stayed overnight there. Our real activity started on that night. Hold on girls for more updates. ;)
